My Journey

There was a time when my world was bright classrooms, laughter-filled corridors, and the creative chaos of a Media room alive with imagination. Teaching wasn’t just my job — it was my calling. I thrived on connection, on guiding young minds, on being part of something vibrant and alive.

Then, in 2012, my body began to whisper… and then to roar. First my knees gave way. Then my ankle. My thumbs. My neck. A rare and complex arthritis crept into my joints, stealing movement, strength, and eventually the career I loved. After a year of pushing through pain — dragging myself in, refusing to surrender — I faced the unthinkable: illness retirement. The classroom door closed.

But something else opened.

Because I am not someone who fades quietly. I am a creator. A dreamer. A woman who finds energy in people, in stories, in the unseen threads that connect us all. Deep inside, I always knew there was something more. I had known things before they happened. Known who was calling before the phone rang. Felt truths before they were spoken. My mother carried the same quiet knowing — a gift unspoken but undeniable.

So I began to search. I stepped into spiritual circles. I studied. I trained. I practised. I listened. I unlearned fear and leaned into intuition. Slowly, gently, the gift revealed itself — not as something dramatic or overwhelming, but as something peaceful, natural… mine. Mediumship was not something I became. It was something I remembered.

I began offering readings at local Mind, Body and Spirit events — small stalls, simple beginnings. And the response was overwhelming. People came with open hearts. With grief. With hope. With questions only the soul could answer. And then came an invitation that felt like destiny — to read at the Witches of Gaia Festival in Meriden, the very heart of England. Among pagans, seekers, healers, and mystics, I found my people. Twice a year I stood in that sacred space, meeting the most extraordinary souls, witnessing tears turn to peace, doubt turn to comfort. Each festival grew larger. Each connection deeper. Until once again, my body asked me to slow down.

Disability may have changed my path… but it never took my purpose. Because my gift is not in walking across fields or standing for hours. My gift is connection. My gift is listening beyond the veil. My gift is bringing peace where there is pain, clarity where there is confusion, and light where there is loss. What began as an ending became an awakening. And this — this is only the beginning.
